Ryan Laird
Astrophysicist, science communicator and strategist
I'm an astrophysicist, science communicator and strategist working across space, sustainability and technology. I help organisations and individuals explain complex science clearly and accurately, through strategy, writing, teaching and mentoring.
I hold an MPhys in Astrophysics and am a Chartered Marketer (CMktr), a Member of the Institute of Physics and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. I previously led marketing for ESA Business Applications through HE Space.
I'm Founder and Director of Green Orbit Digital, a specialist communications practice for space, sustainability and mission-led organisations, and I run Leicester Space Week. Beyond client work I write, publish research and build open-source tools.
