EUMETSAT and Africa: Food Security
We see how satellite data provided by EUMETSAT is important for agriculture and fisheries in Africa (e.g. land surface, rainfall, vegetation, evapo-transpiration, soil moisture, sea surface temperature and ocean colour). In combination with ground observations, users can provide vital information to the policymakers in agriculture and fisheries, reinforcing food security in Africa.
