EUMETSAT and Africa: An Overview
We explore how EUMETSAT supports the African community to make the best use of meteorological satellite data through a number of projects and initiatives in cooperation with the European Union, the African Union and the World Meteorological Organization. These in turn enable African meteorologists to give severe weather warnings to local communities, enable them to manage their water and agriculture, and help mitigate the effects of natural hazards and climate change.
